
PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. (Romero Report) — The sheriff’s department in Pittsylvania County is seeking information regarding two break-ins at stores in the county.
The first incident happened at Rickey’s Market, located at 3120 Mt. Cross Road, on April 25 at around 3:53 a.m.
Authorities said the suspect was described as wearing a black hat, black hooded sweatshirt, black gloves, camouflage mask, blue jeans, and black shoes.
The suspect may have been operating a dark-colored four-door sedan of an unknown make and model.
The second break-in took place at the Liberty gas station, located at 2120 Franklin Turnpike, on May 2 at around 3:52 a.m.
In this instance, the suspect was seen wearing a long sleeve yellow shirt, black hat or mask, and dark-colored pants, according to the sheriff’s department.
In both break-ins, an unknown individual forcibly entered the business and stole an undetermined amount of Newport brand cigarettes.

Callers may remain anonymous and could receive up to a $5,000 cash reward upon the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
