
HENRY COUNTY, Va. (Romero Report) — A man and a woman have been charged after their “lewd acts” at a grocery store in Henry County were recorded on video.
The Sheriff’s Office said in a news release that they started an investigation for a report received on May 6 concerning “lewd acts” seen at the Stanleytown Food Lion located on Fairystone Park Highway.
According to authorities, on May 3, two individuals were witnessed engaging in lewd behavior in front of the store, atop a pallet of mulch bags, in clear view of bystanders.
The Sheriff’s Office said the acts, which appeared to involve a sexual or simulated sexual act, were recorded by civilians and captured on store surveillance cameras.
The individuals involved were identified as Adrienne Nicole St. Clair, 33, and Gene Branton Vaughn III, 39.
On May 10, both were apprehended and charged with indecent exposure, classified as a class 1 misdemeanor under Virginia law.
The offense carries a potential penalty of confinement for up to 12 months in jail and/or a fine not exceeding $2,500, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
While Vaughn III was denied bond and remains in custody at the Henry County Adult Detention Center, St. Clair was granted a $1,500 bond.
