NORTH MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (Romero Report) — A 55-year-old man died at the hospital after being pulled from the ocean in North Myrtle Beach on May 17.

The Coroner’s Office identified the man as Timothy Eanes, of Axton, Virginia. 

Eanes was brought out of the water near 10th Avenue South just before noon.

Officials have scheduled an autopsy to determine the cause of death. 

The investigation is ongoing.
