HENRY COUNTY, Va. (Romero Report) — The Virginia State Police has identified the two teenagers killed in a single-vehicle crash early Saturday in Henry County.

The crash occurred around 12:20 a.m. on Figsboro Road, three tenths of a mile south of Westbrook Lane.

According to State Police, a 2014 Chevrolet Impala was going north on Figsboro Road, when the vehicle ran off the right side of the road and hit several trees.  

The Chevrolet then caught fire and became fully involved.

The driver was identified as Azetta Sone Hairston, 17, and the passenger was identified as Jahnavia Sadee Rose Hairston, 19.

Both teens were from Martinsville and died at the scene.  

It is undetermined if they were wearing their seatbelts, police said.

Police continue to investigate the incident.
