HENRY COUNTY, Va. (Romero Report) — A Henry County Circuit Court grand jury delivered 225 indictments against 97 individuals on May 20.

An indictment does not in itself denote guilt.

Rather, it signifies that a grand jury, after evaluating the presented evidence, has deemed there to be sufficient grounds for a trial.

The indictments are as follows:

• Diana Denise Adkins, Ridgeway, on or about August 31, 2022: Unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
• James Edward Baldwin, on or about June 22, 2019: Strangulation of a family or household member, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
• Steven Robert Banks, Dry Fork, on or about November 23: Destruction of property, eluding police.
• James Nelson Beal, Martinsville, on or about November 17: Arson of personal property, attempted malicious wounding of a family or household member.
• Cynthia Marie Bolden, Ridgeway, on or about October 9: Assault and battery of a police officer.
• Waylon Keith Bolden Jr., Martinsville, on or about August 18: Construction fraud.
• Jakeyse Tychon Bostick, Collinsville, on or about September 28: Forgery, uttering a forged check, obtaining money by false pretense, conspiracy to utter a forged check.
• Austin Kenneth Bowman, Stuart, on or about November 4: Possession of fentanyl.
• Christopher Joe Boyd, Fieldale, on or about December 5: Possession of fentanyl (accessory before the fact).
• Leonard George Branch, Martinsville, on or about October 28: Possession of methamphetamine.
• Luchina Janel Brown, Martinsville, on or about September 15: Possession of cocaine.
• Austin Lee Byrd, Axton, on or about November 19: Malicious wounding of a family or household member, abduction, breaking and entering of a dwelling at nighttime to commit larceny.
• Jaquala Dashae Campbell, Martinsville, on or about November 23: Abduction.
• Joshua Terrence Canty, Ridgeway, on or about August 29: Conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, distribution of heroin, conspiracy to distribute heroin, distribution of fentanyl.
• Christopher James Castillo, Martinsville, on or about September 28: Forgery, uttering a forged check, obtaining money by false pretense, conspiracy to utter a forged check.
• Akeem Laquan Clark, Collinsville, on or about August 11: Second-degree murder, use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, possession of a firearm by a violent felon.
• William Bradley Clark, Ridgeway, on or about September 11: Possession of methamphetamine.
• Anthony Lee Coverdale, Collinsville, on or about January 19: Felony obstruction of justice.
• Patricia Beth Cox-Ingram, Martinsville, on or about July 28: Two counts of distribution of methamphetamine, distribution of cocaine – third or subsequent offense, two counts of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, conspiracy to distribute cocaine, two counts of endangering the life of a child, money laundering, racketeering.
• Waylon Allen Cox-Ingram, Martinsville, on or about July 28: Three counts of distribution of methamphetamine, distribution of cocaine – second offense, two counts of conspiracy to distribute methamphetamine, conspiracy to distribute cocaine, two counts of endangering the life of a child, racketeering, money laundering.
• Jonathan Lee Craig, Martinsville, on or about November 27: Possession of a Schedule II controlled substance.
• Kelsey Leann Craig, Bassett, on or about February 7: Felony failure to appear.
• Brandi Shaniese Dalton, on or about August 22: Endangering the life of a child, aggravated malicious wounding of a family or household member.
• Michael Vincent Dangelo, Rural Hall, North Carolina, on or about January 4: Shoplifting.
• Robert Justin Donavant, Martinsville, on or about December 26: Possession of methamphetamine.
• Crystal Ann Dove, Bassett, on or about March 25, 2023: False statement to a firearms dealer.
