ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, N.C. (Romero Report) — An inmate has been charged with asking a woman and a juvenile to kill an associate of his and a local attorney, according to the Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office.
Detectives say they uncovered an alleged plot involving 21-year-old Tevion Antonio Flippen, an inmate at the county jail, who tried to solicit 25-year-old Kelesha Jene Anderson and a juvenile to commit the first-degree murders.
For safety reasons, the Sheriff’s Office said it has withheld the identities of the intended victims and details concerning the juvenile.
Detectives say the investigation led to the execution of multiple search warrants, resulting in the seizure of several electronic devices, cocaine, and an AR15 rifle.
Flippen, of Steirs Street in Reidsville, has been charged with two counts of felony solicitation to commit first-degree murder.
He was already incarcerated in the county jail under an $800,000 secured bond for drug trafficking and weapons charges.
Following the new charges, he received additional “no bond holds.”
Anderson, of East Harris Place in Eden, faces two counts of felony conspiracy to commit first-degree murder.
She has been placed in the county jail under a $150,000 secured bond.
Authorities continue to investigate the case.
