
HENRY COUNTY, Va. (Romero Report) — An Eden, North Carolina bank robbery suspect was arrested in Collinsville on Monday, according to the Henry County Sheriff’s Office.
On May 31, the Eden Police started investigating an armed robbery at Truist Bank, located on South Van Buren Road.
Officers said they found out that a man had entered the bank, pointed a gun at the clerk, and demanded money.
He then ran away with an unknown amount of money.
The tellers were scared but not hurt, according to authorities.
On June 3, authorities in Henry County and Patrick County started helping Eden Police in the robbery investigation.
As a result of this investigation, Henry County deputies issued a fugitive of justice warrant based on the charge of felony robbery from Eden and arrested 53-year-old Bobby Lee Dobbins.
He is currently held in the Henry County Adult Detention Center with no bond.

EDEN, N.C. (Romero Report) — Police in Eden are conducting an armed robbery investigation and are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect in connection to the crime.
On May 31, officers were dispatched to Truist Bank at 680 South Van Buren Road in response to an armed robbery.
Officers said they learned that a suspect had entered the bank, brandished a gun at the clerk, and demanded money.
The man fled in an unknown direction with an undisclosed amount of money, according to police.
The tellers were shaken but uninjured.
The suspect is described as a white man, under 6 feet tall, with a slim build.
He was wearing a green long-sleeved shirt, green hat, pajama-style pants, and sunglasses.
