ROCKY MOUNT, Va. (Romero Report) — A 27-year-old man from Rocky Mount was indicted on 25 charges of possessing child pornography and 2 charges of sexual abuse of an animal on June 3.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office says it received information from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children indicating that Luther Henry Wagner may be in possession of child pornography. 

Following an investigation and the execution of search warrants, Wagner was arrested on March 25 and initially charged with possession of child pornography. 

He has been incarcerated since his arrest and is being held without bond.

The case remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Office. 

Authorities did not provided additional details regarding the evidence or how the alleged crimes were discovered.
