
UPDATE | Kaleb Belcher’s mother reported that he is home and safe at 8:16 p.m. on June 5.
MARTINSVILLE, Va. (Romero Report) — The Martinsville Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 16-year-old runaway.
According to Captain Benjamin Peters, a report was made on May 31 that Kaleb Belcher is missing.
Belcher’s mother, Nykkie Nicole, has urged the community to help in the search for her son.
In a Facebook post, she wrote, “His last known whereabouts were on Forrest Street and the YMCA area in Martinsville.”
A flyer shared by the mother said he was last seen on May 27 leaving 3rd Street and that he has been seen in the East Martinsville area several times.
Belcher is described as being 5 feet, 7 inches feet tall and weighing 160 pounds.
Anyone with information about Belcher’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Martinsville Police Department at 276-403-5300.
