
DANVILLE, Va. (Romero Report) — The Danville Police Department is investigating a murder that occurred on June 18 in the 1300 block of Piney Forest Road.
Officers responded to the Woodside Village apartment complex at 10:49 p.m. and say they found 24-year-old Tasean Delvecchio Farmer, of Danville, shot multiple times inside an apartment.
Police said Farmer was taken to Sovah Health, where he was pronounced dead.
22-year-old Richard Lee Wilson, Jr., also of Danville, is in custody in North Carolina after fleeing the scene.

Wilson is charged with second-degree murder, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, use of a firearm during the commission of a violent felony, reckless handling of a firearm, and discharging a firearm in an occupied dwelling.
The case remains under investigation and appears to be an isolated incident, according to authorities.
