COLLINSVILLE, Va. (Romero Report) — MaKayla Sprouse has once again been crowned Miss Henry County Fair, having previously won the inaugural title.
“Lots of nerves, lots of excitement,” she told the Romero Report. “I’m super excited to be crowned Miss Henry County Fair again. I’m really excited to work hard and go to Miss Virginia Association of Fairs in January.”
Sprouse, who also holds the title of Miss Franklin County Agricultural Fair 2022, was awarded the crown at a scholarship pageant held on June 22 at the Henry County Recreation Center in Collinsville.

She will serve as the official representative of the county fair and will be awarded a $500 scholarship.
“My platform is Operation Food Boxes, where I spread awareness across Virginia and promote my platform,” Sprouse stated. “I put discarded newspaper boxes at local businesses within my community. It’s a give-and-take system to assist in the elimination of hunger. With the pandemic creating hardships and food shortages, my goal is to build a bigger system that continues to help those in need.”
The pageant featured divisions for various age groups, ranging from babies to adults.
The fair will take place from September 25 to 28 at the Martinsville Speedway.
