
MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (Romero Report) — Two Martinsville, Virginia men have been arrested in connection with a fatal crash that killed an NC A&T student in Greensboro, North Carolina.
The incident occurred on April 13 at the intersection of North Elm Street and East Friendly Avenue.
According to Greensboro Police, Xiomara Moore, 21, of Gastonia, was driving when a speeding, stolen Jeep Cherokee ran a red light and collided with her vehicle.
The driver of the Jeep fled the scene right after the crash.
On June 28, police said the suspects were arrested in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina on June 17.

The driver, Darion Tyric Valentine, 22, is facing multiple charges, including:
- Felony hit-and-run death
- Felony possession of a stolen vehicle
- Careless and reckless driving
- Speeding
- No operator’s license
- Running a red light
- Fictitious registration plates
- Misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
The passenger, Dasyne’ Akiese Hairston, 23, has been charged with felony hit-and-run death as a passenger, felony possession of a stolen vehicle, and misdemeanor possession of marijuana.
Both men are expected to be extradited back to Greensboro to face charges.
