• July 4th Parade: Fourth Street, Fieldale, VA 9 AM. Lineup starts at 8 AM.
• Fourth of July Celebration: The Pneuma Pit at Mount Hermon Church Of The Brethren, 144 Mount Hermon Road, Bassett, VA. Hot dogs, chips, drinks, and ice cream beginning at 7 PM. Fireworks at dark. This event is FREE. Bring chairs or blankets to sit on. Rain date: July 6th at 7 PM.

Franklin County

• July 4th Racing & Fireworks: Franklin County Speedway, 693 Speedway Lane, Callaway, VA. Tickets: $20 for adults, kids under 10 get in free. First 250 fans through the gate get tickets for $15. More info at fcspeedway.com or text/call 276-613-4208.

Danville

• July 4th Celebration: Carrington Pavilion, 629 Craghead Street, Danville, VA, 7:30 PM. Music, food, vendors.
• 4th of July festivities: Windsor Heights Community Pool, 435 Whittington Drive, Danville, VA, starting at 11 AM, pizza, watermelon and drink, $8 a person, RSVP to windsorheightscommunitypool@gmail.com

Patrick County

• Annual 4th of July Pool Party: DeHart Park, 212 Wood Brothers Drive, Stuart, VA. Concessions, a DJ, a relay race, water balloon toss, and more. Kona Ice and other food vendors will have baked goods like funnel cakes. Grand Fireworks Show at 9:30 PM.

Rockingham County, NC

• Annual July 3rd Celebration: The Farm House, 912 Bethlehem Church Road, Eden, NC, 6-10:30 PM. Live music, dinner, cash bar, fireworks. Ticketed event.
• Independence Day Celebration: Lake Reidsville, 630 Water Works Road, Reidsville, NC, July 3, 5-9 PM. Music, food, kids zone, fireworks. $5 per car load, $3 walk-in.
• Eden Kiwanis Old Fashioned Fourth of July Celebration: Panther Stadium, Morehead High School, 134 N Pierce Street, Eden, NC. Corn hole tournament registration at 1:30 PM. Bands: Straight Shot (2-4 PM), Carolina Kool (4:30-6:30 PM), The Holiday Band (7-10 PM).
• July 4th Fun Parade: Fair Funeral Home, 432 Boone Road, Eden, NC starting at 9 AM. Decorate bikes, wagons, and strollers in red, white, and blue.
• Fourth on the Farm: July 4, 3203 Pleasant Ridge Road, Summerfield, NC, 2-7 PM. Pony and wagon rides, water slide, food trucks, music.
