DANVILLE, Va. (Romero Report) — The Danville Police Department has arrested a 28-year-old man charging him with multiple felonies stemming from a road rage incident on July 2.

Officers were called to a shots fired report in the 700 block of Halifax Road around 4 p.m.

Shortly thereafter, a victim reported that his vehicle had been shot into during the incident.

From information obtained at the scene, the suspect vehicle and driver, Marlowe Malik Cobbs, of Milton, NC, were identified and found in Caswell County, NC, according to police.

Cobbs has been extradited back to Virginia and is in the Danville City Jail under no bond.

He is charged with:

• Shooting from a vehicle
• Attempted aggravated malicious wounding
• Use of a firearm in commission of a felony
• Discharging a firearm in public
• Child endangerment
• Shooting at an occupied vehicle
