DANVILLE, Va. (Romero Report) — Three people were hurt in a shooting at a party in Danville on July 19.
Officers responded to a call reporting shots fired at a residence in the 1500 block of Halifax Road shortly before 10 p.m.
When they got there, officers say they found a 40-year-old Ringgold resident, who was working as a security officer at a private party, suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg.
Shortly after, a 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman, both from Danville, arrived at the SOVAH Health emergency room with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds from the same incident, according to police.
The investigation has revealed that the shots were fired from a vehicle near the residence, striking the three victims.

Police said the 40-year-old victim was transported to another medical facility and is stable, expected to be released on July 20.
The other two victims were treated and released from the emergency room.
This incident remains an active and ongoing investigation.
Anyone with information or video footage from the time of the incident is urged to contact the Danville Police Department.
Individuals with information leading to an arrest and conviction could be eligible for a cash reward.
