
BASSETT, Va. (rbs news now) — The Bassett Heritage Festival, set for September 7, will offer a full day of activities, including shopping with local merchants, great food, antique cars, and live music.
The event kicks off with a ham and egg breakfast at the Bassett Volunteer Fire Department, 3735 Fairystone Park Highway in Bassett, starting at 6 a.m. and concludes with a parade beginning at 2 p.m.
The festival will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
In case of inclement weather, the event will be rescheduled to September 14 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Vendor booths, measuring approximately 10′ x 10′, are available for a fee of $50 each.
All vendors are required to be present for the entire duration of the event.
The application deadline for vendors is August 24.
