HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — In celebration of the 85th anniversary of the classic movie “The Wizard of Oz,” P&HCC Productions will present a series of live performances beginning this weekend.

The shows will take place in the Walker Fine Arts Theatre on the campus of Patrick & Henry Community College, located at 645 Patriot Avenue, Martinsville.

Performance dates and times are as follows:

  • July 25-27 and August 1-3 at 7:00 p.m.
  • July 27 and August 4 at 2:00 p.m.

The production is directed by Justin Hall and is presented in partnership with Ray Hollingsworth Dance and Arts Studio and Smith River Singers.

Tickets are $20 in advance and $25 at the door, with free admission for children 3 years old and younger, who must sit in the lap of a ticket holder.
