
DANVILLE, Va. (rbs news now) — The Danville Police Department says it has arrested a 27-year-old man after an assault and shooting during attempted robbery on July 29.
Markuis Liqwon Skipwith, the third person involved in incident, was charged with:
- Robbery with serious injury
- Two counts of aggravated malicious wounding
- Three counts of use of a firearm in commission of a felony
- Discharging a firearm in an occupied dwelling
- Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
He is in the city jail without bond.

Police responded to Purdum Woods Apartments, where they say they found a man with a gunshot wound to his arm.
While on scene, officers also found another man near by who had been hit in the head with a blunt object, according to authorities.
Both men were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The investigation found that the three men were together in an apartment when the injuries occurred during an attempted robbery.
This investigation is ongoing.

DANVILLE, Va. (rbs news now) — Danville Police are investigating an attempted robbery that resulted in two men being injured on July 29.
Police responded to Purdum Woods Apartments on Richmond Boulevard around 6:50 p.m., where they say they found a 27-year-old man with a gunshot wound to his arm.
While on scene, officers also found a 31-year-old man in the 1700 block of Richmond Boulevard who had been hit in the head with a blunt object, according to authorities.
Both men were taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

The investigation revealed that the two men, along with a third male, were together in an apartment when the injuries occurred during an attempted robbery.
The incident remains under investigation and no arrests have been announced.

Individuals with information leading to an arrest and conviction could be eligible for a cash reward.
