PATRICK COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — A 19-year-old died in a August 5 crash in Patrick County.

A fatal crash occurred at around 7:35 p.m. on Route 58, two-tenths of a mile east of Route 831.

A 2014 Chevrolet Malibu was going east on Route 58 when it ran off the right side of the road, striking both a guardrail and an embankment, according to Virginia State Police.

Police said the driver, William Aiden Royall, of Stuart, was not wearing his seatbelt and died at the scene.

The crash is still under investigation.
