FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — The Franklin County Circuit Court Grand Jury issued indictments on August 5 against several people.
According to a Facebook post from the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office, the charges are related to narcotics and weapons.
An indictment does not in itself denote guilt.
Rather, it signifies that a grand jury, after evaluating the presented evidence, has deemed there to be sufficient grounds for a trial.
The following individuals were indicted:
- Kayla Larissa Coulton, 23: Two counts of drug possession, schedule I/II (October 2, 2023)
- Tyler Nelson Furrow, 27: One count of drug possession, schedule I/II (April 29, 2024)
- Kevin Lee Howell, 33: One count of drug possession, schedule I/II (April 30, 2024)
- Charley Lynn Holden, 36: One count of drug possession, schedule I/II (April 30, 2024)
- Mikel Lawrence Musgrave, 44: One count of drug possession, schedule I/II (May 17, 2024)
- Timothy Wayne Peters, 57: One count of drug possession, schedule I/II (July 22, 2024)
- Bradley Austin Fackler, 24: Two counts of drug possession, schedule I/II and one count of falsely identifying self to law enforcement (May 24, 2024)
- Amber Jeanette Pruitt, 33: Four counts of drug possession, schedule I/II and one count of drug possession, schedule IV (April and May 2024)
- Susan Conner Slaughter, 62: One count of drug possession, schedule I/II and one count of felon in possession of weapon/ammo (not a firearm) (March 28, 2024)
- Justin Andrew Wright, 35: Three counts of manufacture/distribute schedule I/II drug (3rd offense) (July 2024)
