PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — Keaquan Anthony Glass, 33, of Danville, has been arrested in connection with recent break-ins at gas stations in Pittsylvania County.

The Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from the Danville Police Department, charged Glass following their investigation into the incidents.

Glass is accused of breaking into the Exxon Gas Station located at 5912 South Highway 29 in Blairs on August 2, and the Liberty Gas Station at 2120 Franklin Turnpike on May 2.

He is also a person of interest in a third break-in on April 25, at Rickey’s Market, located at 3120 Mt. Cross Road, according to authorities.

Glass faces the following charges in the county:

• Two counts of breaking and entering with intent to commit a felony
• Two counts of petit larceny
• Two counts of misdemeanor destruction of property

He is currently being held without bond at the Danville City Jail.

PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — A suspect smashed a window at a gas station in Pittsylvania County during a cigarette heist on August 2.

According to authorities, the suspect broke a window and got inside an Exxon gas station located at 5912 South Highway 29 in Blairs around 4 a.m.

During the breaking and entering incident, the suspect stole some Newport brand cigarettes.

The suspect was described as wearing a face covering, a dark-colored hat, a grey shirt, black or dark-colored pants, black shoes, and knee pads.

The Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office is asking anyone with information about this incident to contact them at 434-432-7931 or reach out to crime stoppers at 1-800-791-0044.

Callers may remain anonymous and could receive a cash reward of up to $5,000 if the information leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspect.
