EDEN, N.C. (rbs news now) — Police in Eden are looking for a woman allegedly responsible for a house fire that happened on August 12.

Officers along with crews from the Eden Fire Department and Leaksville Rural 210 Fire Department responded to the incident on Harrington Highway around 11:56 p.m.

All occupants of the residence were able to escape without injury, according to authorities.

Crews extinguished the blaze, but the fire caused extensive damage to the home and a vehicle.

Following an investigation, detectives said they determined the fire was set intentionally.

As a result, Tesha Camelle Joyce, of Roanoke, Virginia, has been charged with first-degree arson.

Joyce’s current whereabouts are unknown, and the Eden Police are requesting the public’s help in locating her.
