FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — A box truck overturned in a crash in Franklin County on August 15.

It happened around 8 p.m. on Sontag Road in front of Sontag Elementary School.

According to Virginia State Police, the driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was not injured in the incident.

Emergency responders from the Rocky Mount Volunteer Fire Department and the Franklin County Department of Public Safety also arrived at the scene.

All lanes of Sontag Road were closed, but a detour was set up, allowing traffic to pass through the elementary school grounds to bypass the incident.

The cause of the accident is under investigation, and no further details have been released at this time.
