
UPDATE | The Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office reported just before 9 p.m. on August 20 that Kmyni Adkins has been located and returned home.
PITTSYLVANIA COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — The Pittsylvania County Sheriff’s Office seeks the public’s help in locating a missing 13-year-old girl.
Kmyni Adkins was reported missing from her residence on Fall Creek Road in the Ringgold community.
She is a Black female standing 5 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 130 pounds.
The sheriff’s office said on August 20 that Adkins was last seen around 4 p.m. wearing an oversized white sweatshirt, purple leggings with white flowers, and white Converse shoes.
Authorities currently consider her to be a runaway and do not suspect foul play.
The sheriff’s office is asking anyone with information about her whereabouts to contact them at 434-432-7931.
