EDEN, N.C. (rbs news now) — Police in Eden are looking for the suspect of a vehicle pursuit that crossed state lines on May 7.

Around 9:20 p.m., officers tried to stop a silver Mazda.

Police said the vehicle did not stop, leading officers on a chase that crossed into Virginia.

Following an investigation, detectives obtained warrants for the arrest of Skylar Dwayne Dix.

Dix is wanted for felony fleeing to elude arrest in the state of North Carolina.

“Mr. Dix, you placed numerous citizens at risk with your antics,” the Eden Police Department said in a news release. “We do not take kindly to that behavior in Eden. We have a duty to protect our citizens.”
