UPDATE | The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office reports that the teens are safe and have returned home.

FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office is requesting the public’s assistance in locating two missing teens.

Reuben Bernard, a 16-year-old white male, is described as having blonde hair, blue eyes, standing 5 feet 9 inches, and weighing 130 pounds.

Kielle Hodge, a 15-year-old white female, has blonde hair, stands 5 feet 3 inches, and weighs 121 pounds.

The teens were last seen around 10:30 p.m. on August 20, and are believed to have been together during the early morning of August 21.

Authorities suspect one of the teens may be driving a 2013 White Ford Explorer with Virginia license plate UVR-4121.

The direction of travel is currently unknown.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Reuben Bernard or Kielle Hodge is urged to contact the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office at 540-483-3000.
