HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — The Henry County Sheriff’s Office SWAT Team executed a narcotics search warrant resulting in one arrest on August 20.

It was part of a joint narcotics operation conducted along with the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office on Raceway Drive in Bassett.

During the search, authorities said they found suspected meth, a gun, ammunition, packaging materials, a digital scale, and an undisclosed amount of cash.

The items seized are consistent with the distribution of illegal narcotics, according to the sheriff’s office.

The gun and suspected narcotics will be sent for further analysis.

Steven Mathew Holt, 39, of the address, was taken into custody without incident and has been charged with possession with intent to distribute a schedule I/II drug, third or subsequent offense and possession of ammunition by a convicted felon

    Holt is currently being held at the Henry County Adult Detention Center without bond.
