HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — Patrick & Henry Community College (P&HCC) Athletics will hold its fundraiser golf tournament on October 11 at Chatmoss Country Club.

The event aims to raise funds to support the college’s athletic programs, ensuring continued success for student-athletes both on and off the field.

The tournament will help provide top-notch athletic equipment, cover travel expenses, and improve facilities, according to P&HCC.

“We are thrilled to host this year’s fundraiser and bring together our community, alumni, and supporters for a day of fun and competition,” said Brian Henderson, Assistant Vice President for Student Engagement and Athletic Director at the community college. “Our athletes work incredibly hard, both academically and athletically, and this event allows us to give them the resources they need to excel.”

The tournament will begin at 1 p.m. and follow a four-person captain’s choice format.

Registration costs $300, which includes green fees, cart, and refreshments.

Sponsorship opportunities are also available, offering recognition throughout the event.
