
FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — Four people, including two teens, have been charged in connection to three crimes on August 31.
The Franklin County Sheriff’s Office responded around 1:16 a.m. to a break-in at a residence in the 1700 block of Mount Carmel Road.
When deputies got there, the suspects had already fled the scene.
While processing the site, deputies said they received a second call about a vehicle being shot at in the same area.
Later that morning, a third report came in regarding property damage at a home in the 2300 block of Webster Road, where multiple gunshots were fired into the house from outside, according to authorities.

Following the investigation, authorities believe the three incidents are connected.
Mason Avery Wascar Reyes, 19, of Roanoke, was arrested on September 2, and is being held without bond on the following felony charges:
- Statutory burglary of a dwelling with intent to murder
- Larceny of a firearm
- Shooting at a vehicle with malice
- Discharge of a firearm from a motor vehicle
- Firearm use in the commission of a felony
Maddix Aidyn Brothers, 18, of Rocky Mount, was arrested on September 3 and is being held without bond on a felony charge of statutory burglary of a dwelling with intent to murder, rape, rob, or arson.
Two 17-year-olds have been arrested and are being held in juvenile detention for breaking and entering with intent to commit murder and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony.
The investigation is ongoing, and no further details are available at this time.
