MARTINSVILLE, Va. (rbs news now) — Piedmont Arts invites art and flower enthusiasts to join them for a trip to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts (VMFA).

The Fine Arts & Flowers exhibit will be held October 24 and showcases over 70 floral interpretations of the museum’s permanent collection, crafted by local garden and ikebana clubs.

Tickets for the excursion are $105 and include roundtrip transportation.

Purchases can be made at PiedmontArts.org or by calling the museum directly.

Ticket holders will gather at the museum at 8 a.m., with departure for Richmond at 8:30 a.m.

Upon arrival, patrons will enjoy a luncheon and fashion show in the Marble Hall, followed by a private group tour led by a VMFA curator.

Attendees will have the opportunity to admire the floral arrangements alongside the museum’s artwork.

There will also be time to explore the museum at your own pace and visit the gift shop.
