DANVILLE, Va. (rbs news now) — Four new officers were pinned by family members during a ceremony held on September 26.

Officers David A. Guido Flores, William G. Headley, Michael K. Pollard, and Charles G. Setliff took the oath of office in front of family, friends, and department members.

Officer Lucas C. Reese was not present.

Chief Chris Wiles administered the oath of honor, while Mistress of Ceremonies Beth Shackelford oversaw the officers’ oath of office.

This marks the third swearing-in ceremony at the department’s new headquarters, which opened in August 2022.
