HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — Two men are behind bars following a narcotics raid in Henry County on October 3.

The Henry County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Interdiction Unit and SWAT team executed a narcotics search warrant at a home on Sanville School Road in Bassett.

During the search, deputies said they seized suspected meth, an unidentified tan powder, a rifle, and digital scales.

The confiscated substances will be sent to the department of forensic science in Roanoke for analysis.

Cody Cheyenne Moore, 31, of the residence, and Maurice Antonio Underdown, 39, of Oakgrove Park Lane in Bassett, are facing multiple felony charges.

Moore’s charges include:

• Possession of a controlled substance

• Possession of a firearm while in possession of a schedule II drug

• Distribution of a controlled substance on or near school property

Underdown’s charges include:

• Possession of a controlled substance

• Possession of a firearm by a non-violent felon

• Possession of ammunition by a felon

• Possession of a firearm while in possession of a schedule II drug

• Distribution of a controlled substance on or near school property

The investigation is ongoing.
