PATRICK COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — The Patrick Springs Volunteer Fire Department responded to a house fire on November 14 in Patrick County.

The fire department’s engine arrived first on the scene to find a single-wide mobile home with flames visible.

Firefighters began fire suppression, while an additional team from Squad 23 conducted a primary search of the residence.

Shortly after, an engine from the Town of Stuart arrived, assisting with a secondary search and beginning the overhaul process.

Crews said all searches of the structure came back clear, with no individuals found inside.

Firefighters from Moorefield Store and Patrick-Henry Volunteer Fire Departments responded with additional tankers to assist in extinguishing the blaze.

No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
