FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — A Franklin County school bus driver has been is facing multiple charges related to sexual acts with a minor, according to the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.

Matthew Ellis Davis, 51, of Callaway, was taken into custody on December 2.

He faces three felony counts of aggravated sexual battery involving a victim under the age of 13, along with one misdemeanor count of sexual battery.

Davis is currently being held without bond as he awaits court proceedings.

Authorities did not release further details about the allegations or the circumstances surrounding the case.

The investigation is ongoing.
