
ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, N.C. (rbs news now) — Morris Fain, 79, who was reported missing, was found deceased near his vehicle around 6 p.m. on January 20.
Authorities located the vehicle just inside a wooded area off Panther Road near Guerrant Springs Road in Ruffin.
Fain was last heard from on January 13 while driving to the 300 block of Acme Street in Reidsville, but he never arrived at his destination.
At this time, investigators do not suspect foul play in Fain’s death.

ROCKINGHAM COUNTY, N.C. (rbs news now) — Authorities are looking for Morris Fain, a 79-year-old man reported missing on January 13.
Fain was last seen driving a 2001 white Nissan Altima with a taillight out and a handicap placard hanging from the rearview mirror, according to authorities.
He was last heard from around 4:30 p.m. while on the way to the 300 block of Acme Street in Reidsville, where he never arrived.
Later that evening, Fain was spotted at AutoZone Danville, VA, where he asked for directions back to Reidsville.
He was later seen at the Liberty Gas Station on Franklin Turnpike, where a motorist helped escort him to the U.S. 29 Bypass southbound lane.
The Rockingham County Sheriff’s Office said that was the last confirmed sighting of Fain.
At the time of his disappearance, Fain was wearing a flannel button-up shirt, blue jeans, and gray “Hey Dude” shoes.
Efforts to reach him by cell phone have been unsuccessful, as the phone is currently powered off.
Authorities in both jurisdictions are continuing their search.
Family members have not heard from him and remain concerned for his safety.
Anyone with information about Morris Fain’s whereabouts is asked to call 9-1-1 and report his location immediately.
