HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — Two people were injured in a stabbing incident in the 3100 block of Sunset Road in Collinsville on January 27.
Around 4 p.m., deputies responded to the residence and said they found a juvenile male with apparent cuts to his hand.
The juvenile and his father were uncooperative with investigators, authorities said.
The juvenile was transported to Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital for treatment and later released.
During the investigation, deputies said they got information about a man’s vehicle.
That man was located on Hurst Lane in Collinsville and was found with cuts to his wrist and body, along with injuries consistent with an assault.
He was transported to SOVAH Health in Martinsville for treatment and later released.
Like the juvenile, he was also uncooperative with investigators.
While initial reports suggested the incident involved two juveniles, Henry County Sheriff Wayne Davis later clarified that further investigation revealed otherwise.
No warrants have been issued at this time due to the lack of cooperation from both parties involved, deputies said.
The investigation remains ongoing.
Authorities ask anyone with information about the incident to contact the Henry County Sheriff’s Office at 276-638-8751 or Crimestoppers at 276-632-7463.
