FRANKLIN COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — Authorities are searching for 70-year-old Richard K. Hubbard, who has been reported missing from his home in the 4400 block of Waidsboro Road in Ferrum.

Hubbard, who has been diagnosed with dementia, is believed to have left his residence sometime between January 28 and January 29.

He is described as being 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 180 pounds.

Law enforcement units are actively searching the area.

Authorities ask anyone with information about Hubbard’s whereabouts to contact the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office at 540-483-3000.
