DANVILLE, Va. (rbs news now) — The Danville Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Melvin Williams.

The 71-year-old man was last seen around 10:30 a.m. on February 5 leaving a residence in the 200 block of Campbell Street.

Williams is described as a Black male and was last seen wearing a dark-colored jacket, blue jeans, and carrying a trash bag.

Authorities ask anyone with information on his whereabouts to contact the Danville Police Department at 434-799-6510 or Crime Stoppers at 434-793-0000.
