ORIGINAL STORY — February 9

HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — For the second time in three days, authorities responded to a bomb threat at the Dollar General on Greensboro Road in Henry County.
According to Henry County Sheriff Wayne Davis, two male subjects entered the store on February 9, behaving suspiciously.
When store employees approached them, one of the males made a threat of an explosion.
The suspects then left the scene in a vehicle, Sheriff Davis said.
Deputies located the vehicle and took the suspect who made the threat into custody.
Authorities have not yet released the individual’s identity or possible charges.
The latest incident follows a bomb threat called into the same Dollar General on February 7 shortly after Richard Rotunda entered the GameStop on Commonwealth Boulevard and robbed an employee at gunpoint.
“The one from Friday was unfounded. We do have reason to believe that the GameStop robbery suspect was involved with the placement of that bomb threat call as a means to draw our resources away,” Davis told rbs news now.
Henry County Public Safety, Virginia State Police, and Ridgeway Volunteer Fire Department responded to both incidents.
The investigation remains ongoing.
