Several school systems in our coverage area will be closed or shifting to remote learning on February 11 due to an approaching winter storm.

• Pittsylvania County Schools: Students will participate in remote learning, and teachers will work from home.
• Patrick & Henry Community College: Closed.
• Patrick County Public Schools: Utilizing remote learning days on February 11 and 12.
• Henry County Public Schools: Virtual learning day for students; virtual workday for all 10-month, 11-month, and 12-month employees.
• Martinsville City Public Schools: Closed.
• Franklin County Public Schools: Closed, employee code 0.
• New College Institute: Closed.
• Carlisle School: Closed.

Additional closures may be announced as the storm approaches.
