Several school districts and colleges in our coverage area have announced closures and schedule adjustments for February 12 due to the forecasted winter storm.

• Henry County Public Schools: Virtual learning day for students; virtual workday for all 10-month, 11-month, and 12-month employees.
• Martinsville City Public Schools: Closed.
• Franklin County Public Schools: Closed; 12-month staff to report two hours late.
• Patrick & Henry Community College: Closed.
• Patrick County Public Schools: Utilizing a remote learning day.
• Pittsylvania County Schools: Closed; Remote learning day for students and employees follow Plan D-10

Additional closures may be announced as the storm approaches.
