Several school districts across the region are adjusting schedules on February 13 due to ongoing winter storm conditions and widespread power outages.

The following adjustments have been made:

  • Henry County Public Schools: Closed; Virtual learning day for students and virtual work day for all ten-month, eleven-month, and twelve-month employees.
  • Martinsville City Public Schools: Operating on a two-hour delay.
  • Pittsylvania County Schools: Closed; Remote learning day for students. Employees follow Plan D-10.
  • Danville Public Schools: Operating on a two-hour delay.
  • Patrick County Public Schools: Closed; No remote learning day.
  • Franklin County Public Schools: Closed, Code 1.
  • Carlisle School: Operating on a one-hour delay.

School officials remind families to stay informed as weather conditions may lead to further updates.
