
DANVILLE, Va. (rbs news now) — Danville Police are investigating a shooting that occurred after an altercation inside a residence on February 15.
Officers responded just before 8 p.m. to reports of a disturbance and shots fired in the 300 block of Ross Street.
Upon arrival, they said they found two men at the scene with gunshot wounds, one of whom was a resident.
A third gunshot victim was transported to SOVAH Health in Danville by private vehicle.
According to police, the incident began when two armed men entered the residence, which was occupied by two others, and made demands.
An altercation broke out, leading to an exchange of gunfire.
All three wounded men were later transferred to other medical facilities for further treatment.
As of the latest update, two remain in critical condition.
