PATRICK COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — Four people were arrested in connection with a home burglary in Patrick County on March 24.

The sheriff’s office got a call around 12:30 p.m. from a utility company reporting a burglary at a residence in the Concord Church area.

Deputies arrived to find an open window and door, and the home had been ransacked, authorities said.

Utility workers witnessed the crime and one of the suspects allegedly pointed a rifle at them, according to the sheriff’s office.

Deputies later located the four suspects in the 600 block of Russell Creek Lane.

All were taken into custody without incident, and much of the stolen property was recovered, deputies said.

Tyler Benjamin Brockney, 24, of Palmetto School Road, Stuart, was arrested and charged with breaking and entering, conspiracy to commit breaking and entering, petit larceny, destruction of property, and two counts of brandishing a firearm.

Joseph Brooks Iddings, 41, of Russell Creek Lane, Stuart, was charged with breaking and entering, conspiracy to commit breaking and entering, petit larceny, and destruction of property.

Joyce Lynn Charles, 41, of Martin Farm Road, was charged with breaking and entering, conspiracy to commit breaking and entering, petit larceny, and destruction of property.

Amanda Johnson Prillaman, 38, of Russell Creek Lane, was charged with breaking and entering, conspiracy to commit breaking and entering, petit larceny, and destruction of property.

Brockney, Iddings, and Charles are being held without bond at the Patrick County Jail.

Prillaman was released on a $5,000 unsecured bond.

The investigation is ongoing.
