HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — Carlisle School celebrated six senior student-athletes who officially committed to continuing their athletic and academic careers at the collegiate level.

In a signing ceremony on April 11, the school recognized the achievements and future journeys of students across three sports: golf, baseball, and basketball.

“These student-athletes have demonstrated incredible dedication, perseverance, and hard work both in the classroom and on the field, court, and course,” the school shared in a Facebook post. “We are thrilled to cheer them on as they continue their athletic and academic journeys at the collegiate level.”

The signees include:

Golf:

• Addison Lawrence – Ferrum College
• Connor Boughton – Roanoke College
• Logan Williams – Ferrum College

Baseball:

• Casey Thomas – Concord University
• Luke Carter – Patrick & Henry Community College

Basketball:

• Braelyn Gray – Patrick & Henry Community College

Carlisle staff, coaches, and families were all in attendance to witness the signing.

“We are so proud of each of you and can’t wait to see all that you accomplish in this exciting next chapter,” the school wrote. “Once a Chief, always a Chief.”
