HENRY COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — It has been one year since Kenneth Wayne Turner was last seen.

Turner, who was 79 at the time, was last seen by family members on April 12, 2024, at his home on Massie Drive in Fieldale.

Henry County Sheriff Wayne Davis said it is believed Turner left on foot and never returned, which lead his family to report him missing the following day.

Described as 6 feet 4 inches tall, weighing 240 pounds, with gray hair, Turner was last seen wearing navy blue sweatpants.

Despite extensive efforts by multiple agencies — including the Henry County Sheriff’s Office, Henry County Department of Public Safety, Virginia State Police, and Virginia D.W.R. Conservation Police — no confirmed sightings or leads have been reported.

Authorities encourage anyone who may know something related to his disappearance to call 911 or contact the Martinsville-Henry County Communications Center at 276-638-8751.
