PATRICK COUNTY, Va. (rbs news now) — The popular Movies in the Park series in Patrick County is back this summer.

The series will offer free, family-friendly films at five different parks across the county.

Hosted by Patrick County Parks & Recreation, the outdoor movie events will take place throughout the summer, with screenings beginning at dusk.

Here’s the schedule for the upcoming season:

• May 31: Moana 2 at DeHart Park – Stuart Park & Recreation Association (1161 Dehart Park Rd, Stuart)
• June 28: Sonic 3 at Dan River Park (1216 Tenth St, Stuart)
• July 26: Mufasa at Woolwine IC DeHart Memorial Park (1685 Pipers Gap Rd, Woolwine)
• August 23: The Wild Robot at Mountain Top Recreation Park (5427 Jeb Stuart Hwy, Meadows of Dan)
• September 20: Captain America: Brave New World at Patrick Springs Park (1731 Patrick Springs Rd, Patrick Springs)

Concessions will be available at each event.

Everyone is welcome to join, and the screenings are open to the public at no cost.
