MARTINSVILLE, Va. (rbs news now) — The Nutrition Zone: Protein Bar officially reopened in a new Uptown Martinsville location on May 15.

Owner Rosy Sanchez has relaunched the business at 62 Fayette Street Suite 201, creating an environment where customers can stop in, relax, and enjoy a health-focused menu.

The revamped space includes a protein bar, lounge seating, and a design brought to life with the help of Sanchez’s family, who assisted in building and decorating the interior.

“Our drinks offer many health benefits, including energy, weight loss, and nutritional value—and they taste great,” Sanchez said. “It was heartwarming to learn just how important we had become to our customers.”

The new location places The Nutrition Zone in the heart of a growing section of Uptown Martinsville, where a number of businesses and residents are establishing roots.

It is the seventh new business to open in the Fayette Street Lofts building.

“Twenty-five loft apartments and ten other businesses are now our neighbors. Everyone I’ve met here has been so nice,” said Sanchez.  The recently renovated property is one of four local development projects of The Historic Collective.

The Nutrition Zone is open Monday to Thursday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Friday from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.
