COLLINSVILLE, Va. (rbs news now) — A man was arrested on May 31 after authorities discovered him with a teen in a suspicious vehicle behind an auto parts store in Collinsville.

A deputy conducting routine patrol around 5 a.m. observed a red Dodge Charger with its engine running parked behind the AutoZone store at 2400 Virginia Avenue.

Deputies said the driver, Roniticus Lamar Wilson, 33, of Williams Street in Martinsville, was found shirtless and apparently asleep in the vehicle.

A 14-year-old girl was also discovered in the front passenger seat, unclothed and asleep, according to authorities.

Several open containers of alcoholic beverages were visible inside the vehicle.

Investigators determined that Wilson and the teen knew each other and had been attempting to engage in a romantic relationship.

Wilson was charged with carnal knowledge of a child and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

He is currently being held without bond at the Henry County Adult Detention Center.

The investigation remains ongoing.
