REIDSVILLE, N.C. (rbs news now) — An investigation into illegal drug activity at a Reidsville motel led to the arrest of seven people.

Reidsville Police executed search warrants at the Williams Motel on Freeway Drive on June 7 as part of the investigation they called Operation Double Down.

Officers said they seized drugs, guns, and cash from two motel rooms during the operation.

The following individuals were arrested:

  • Justin Holt Gibbs, 34, was arrested on an outstanding warrant for failure to appear on previous drug charges and was wanted for felony probation violation. His bond was set at $20,000, with a court date of July 8.
  • Jerrico Storm Manus, 23, was charged with multiple felonies, including trafficking fentanyl, possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine and meth, possession of a firearm by a felon, and maintaining a place for controlled substances. Manus also faces several misdemeanor charges related to drug and paraphernalia possession. He was issued a $500,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on June 12.
  • Elysia Morgan Smith, 39, was charged with felony possession of fentanyl and meth, as well as possession of drug paraphernalia. She received a $10,000 bond and a June 12 court date.
  • Todd Michael Gilley, 42, was charged with misdemeanor possession of a schedule IV controlled substance. He is scheduled to appear in court on August 5.
  • Katelyn Nicole Durham, 32, faces felony charges including possession of fentanyl, maintaining a vehicle for controlled substances, and possession with intent to sell or deliver cocaine and meth. She also faces multiple misdemeanor charges. Durham’s bond was set at $350,000, with a court date of June 9.
  • Robert Michael Cooper, 47, was charged with felony possession of cocaine.
  • Wesley Vernon, 34, was charged with felony possession of meth and misdemeanor drug paraphernalia offenses.

Police are asking anyone with information about drug or criminal activity to submit anonymous tips by texting 847411.
